what exactly is a middle man?

A MM is a person that helps with trades so people don't end up getting scammed, say you are both trading each other accounts, you would both give the MM the details of the accounts, the MM would then confirm if the account's details are valid or not, if the details are valid they would then give you both the accounts you traded for, this prevents people getting scammed.

Recently i have sent a MM (*middle man *) a message.It was about a deal between a lvl 90 runescape account for a lvl 11+ warrock account with 20k+ dinar.

I got a PM from a person offering a lvl 14 account. It read: "the name of the runescape account?? pictures??? i have a level 14 warrock account with 2.18k/d"

Reading this i got ancious and replied to the PM ASAP.It read:"The name of the account is curse63.You can look it up on the highscores if you want to.I do have a picture but i can't get imageshack to host it.

Ill take the lvl 14 warrock account if you want to make the deal."

Then I sent a middle man to make the transaction the PM read:Well I would appreciate if you would make a deal with another user of the MPGH forums.

I am trading a runescape account for a level 11+ warrock account.

The details are in these two private messages.

He sent to me:
