All alternatives of course supporting Flash and generally having higher specs than iPad.
HP Slate has been scrapped, just so you know.

I really don’t believe the iPad is meant to be a tablet. Its not. If people are buying it thinking its a tablet, they are retarded. Its made for media consumption, ebook reading, and casual gaming.

Anything that is aiming to compete with the iPad, but runs on the android OS is just stupid. People complain that the iPad is a terrible tablet computer that really can’t do anything that a netbook or any other tablet can do. A tablet that runs Android has the exact same restrictions. But the app store for the android isn’t that great. It’s nothing compared to the iPhone/iPad app store. So you are going to be paying slightly less for less apps, less battery power, heavier, and not as nice looking.
The only reason I wouldn't buy an iPad is cause' Apple is a giant raging dick.

Other than that, no need for one.

Gemini has more battery power. Don't honestly think the more inclined users care about having random apps when there's performance, features, and HD on the line. Also eventually Android will surpass iWhatever inevitably, since it'll be used because more and more table PCs and cellphones will use it since it is opensource.
Android has none of the same restrictions, it's opensource, so if I wanted to create a 3D gaming engine for it, I could. And there will be a company to eventually market on the fact ANDROiD is opensource and soon there'll be a great 3D gaming engine (because I figure there are plenty probably already out there now), and FPS' for ANDROiD phones and MPGH will have an ANDROiD Game hacking section.

ANDROiD is going to rape the tablet PC/Cellphone market. Apple's mobile OS' will die in its wake.

Mobile market ever increasing in size, more and more users with high quality touch screen phones/tablets , ANDROiD OS opensource, software developers will take increasing interest in the mobile market, game makers would attack on it and CoD 11 would be for Google's Nexus 6.

I have a few complaints about it.

Dust/dirt manages to get UNDER the screen and can't be cleaned.

Laggy, at times.

Battery life isn't great.

Other than that, I can use it to get free interwebs on road trips pretty much anywhere.
why is apple a giant raging dick?
Not everyone in the world is extremely picky when it comes to buying stuff like this.. They're all good, if you want to get extremely technical, maybe you can gain a bit more performance out of one or the other.

Let's leave it at that and get on with our lives. Stupid things come out everyday.
3 words...
