Ok, yesterday we had some bad weather here in MS. straight line winds tornadoes ect...... It was getting bad out so i decided to shut down my comp.
I unplugged it from the modem and the power outlet.
After 1 minute the power goes out.

Thankfully i shut it down before it got fried by lightning,
Then after sitting in the dark for a few hours the rain stops and the power comes on.
I goto my desk to turn on my comp.
I plug the modem up and the power supply to it.
My power supply has a switch in the back of it to cut the power off and on.
I switch it to the ON position.
All of a sudden my CPU&cooling fans go full blast!
so i was like WTF.
There was no image on the screen neither.
so i turn it of by the switch in the back of the power supply.
I went to try it again, the fans came on for about 10secs then quit.
Trying to push the power button on the front of the comp did nothing.
Power was going to it from the power supply b/c there is an LED on the MBoard to show if the unit is receiving power.
After hours of thought and work, I have took it completely apart and cleaned it carefully and putting it back together and replacing the battery on the MBoard.. looking for any type of reason for its behavior.
Today I was soon to give up, nothing else to do but shit outlook.
I get the mouse, keyboard and the monitor, hook it up.
Got all my wires in proper places.
I turn the switch ON, of the back of the computer.
The fans start up with out pressing the power button in the front.
Then it starts up with the Emachines logo and boots.
Ok, As I'm in. I go to google wile i had the chance to see if i could find any answers. so far no hope.
I check out my devices and hardware to check for any errors.
couldn't find any.
I shut down the computer so i could restart it.
When it shut down, it did normally as intended.
Had no fans running with the power switch in ON position.
I press the on button infront of the comp now to boot it.
The button seemed to have no effect when i pushed it.
I switch the button in the back to off the on.
It booted up.
Then there was this other problem with my dvd/burner.
When the screen where the logo appears to press f2 to do this and f10 to do this. It trys to open and close it repeatedly but when it opens then closes fully it boots up windows and im able to access my data.
note: ("somehow it got jammed up one day. I hardly used it")
So far i have noticed that my H.D.D LED and the POWER SW is not working.
I have to force open the dvd/burner to get my comp booted every time now.
Im on it now. How else would I put this here.
the spec for this comp is:
Windows 7 Enterprise
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 3.33GHz 3.33GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 4 GB
32-bit operating system
Emachines T3522
......
Throw me some help peoples. I need it.
the power button in front, is still not working.
and the fans seem a little to loud too.
