i just downloaded combat arms and when i try to start it it says prgram is shutting down error code 203

Take a screenshot. This also belongs in the help section. HSUpdate.env causes the error. Try downloading another one.

Disable anti-virus and UAC if you have it. This error can be generated by using a hack to bypass Hackshield. It can could also be a registry problem
