[Collection]Ideas For VB Releases

Hi Community !!

Post your fresh ideas about the new releases here. We need fresh ideas for the section. VB section is almost dying. We gotta do something to save it. Plus we don't need ideas for spammers, injectors and web-browsers etc. They are already made more than 50 times in the section. If you're gonna make them, then please introduce something new in them. Put some effort in your releases. We are always here to help you. Don't just make a program containing 4-5 lines of code. We are here to advise you on how to make your releases advanced.

While posting in this thread, make sure you follow the guidelines below:

■ Be Realistic:
Be realistic while posting. Don't post what is right now impossible for the section. For Example, Don't post on how to make a texture hack for call of duty. Now, this is way too advanced for the section. Most coders here are beginners / have less experience, so this will fail.

■ Search MPGH:
Before posting, make sure you search MPGH. If the release is already out, don't post it.

■ Be Specific:
Try to be as specific and clear as possible.

■ Do Not Flame:
Do not flame anyone. Let them post their ideas. If the idea is practical, then it would be followed else it will be removed by the minion.

Note: Irrelevant posts will be deleted by the minion so don't post them.

Try to keep it in this format:

Idea: The name of the project

Supposed difficulty: An estimate of the difficulty (easy, medium, hard, etc.)

Description: Describe in fair detail what the program would be like.

I agree with this flame. (even if i didn't post nothing about VB at all) xD

Idea:

Mail System (Outlook like or so... since i have been lurking around VB i did not see one)

Mail Servers (Local mails from users to users, e.g: for use in a company)

Both together..?
Instant message system? (With Server & Clients, using the mails you just created on the company)

I'm not saying that this will be useful to someone except you. Training is really important, and you will feel better if you make this (even if it has no use for others at all) then making a stupid spammer that everyone will do without problems.

Also this might be usefull if you even get to work on a company.

Idea: Calender/ memopad.

Supposed Difficulty: Regular.

What is it?: Essentially a program displaying the calender and a list of tasks to accomplish every day.

an annoying msgbox giver, that makes the msgboxes be in random locations.

Idea:

Real Windows Explorer.

With this i mean:

ListView (Detailed/Image view option)
Treeview (that side treeview that you usually see on the left panel)
Back
Foward
Location bar and be able to nativage to a folder by writing it's place (eg: c:\xpto\blalba)
And be able to somehow run the file when clicked on the listview... (if .txt will open notepad as default.. etc.. add different icons if it is a .txt, or .exe. or w/e)

Plus, remember to update each view.. I mean, if you are searching around on Listview, keep treeview updated just like listview, and same if searching with treeview.

With this i mean to make it from zero... listview.. treeview... etc

Attention: This might look simple... well, and the standard stuff is quite easy, but keeping everything upgraded, with back and foward, etc.. etc.. it gets hard.

Idea: Make a VB.NET Project Cleaner.

Supposed Difficulty Level: Regular

What Is It ?? A program that browses for the VB.NET project folder and cleans every file. By cleans I mean that it should be able to remove comments, be able to repair broken lines, be able to trim and remove empty lines and be able to remove XML comments, then re-writes the modified data to the file in operation.

great idea! i will try to do it on c#, as im not a vb coder
