Question over modding scopes
Im trying to mod scopes, im using soso's tut to do it. It's closed and its a old thread, so i thought i'd make a new thread... anyway, he says this in the tut

"Now double click Dedit, and locate your Texture folder from Dedit, inside your texture folder you should find the DOTSIGHT_STYLE_A, right click it, and click Export TGA File(s), and save the TGA file anywhere. After you saved it, you have to open the TGA file with paint, not the crappy one, the one I showed you. You should get this, " Then a screenie of what it looks like when its done, and on paint. What'd Dedit? I googled it and i cant find it. Dx, a little help, pl0x. No clue how to mod, but im trying to mod my own crosshairs.
Dedit is a program used for the lithtech engine. It's needed to edit for people who don't have photoshop and for certain .dtx files. It should be in the attachment of this sticky:

If you're trying to mod a crosshair, then you won't find the .dtx file unless you're talking about the knife/friendly fire/infected crosshair.

I dont know what you just said, the only thing i understood was the dedit part. But i did my own crosshairs using paint.net and come to find out that the ones nexon provided were not centered correctly. Now that i made my own and recentered em i get a hella lot better shots and even headshots from a longer distance.i'll be back in a little bit and edit with some screenies of a couple of my crosshair reticles.
