ok i have been looking over many differant forums and have found nothing so im asking for help. im customizing a gungame mod to my liking, i want to implament knifing into it in the way of the old gungame from cod 4. what i mean by that for you who do not know is i want a knife kill to take you down a level. now someone told me that all i had to do was invert the game but all that does is make me start at the bottom of the gun list. i dont think thye knew what i wanted. please help

What maarten551 means is that theres a variable that changes each time you level up. what you should do is say that when you are killed by a knife (or any weapon of your choice), then make the variable ( your level ) go down by one (so you type -1 ).
Now i have no gcs coding knoledge so dont ask me for the script but thats what maarten551 meant. =)

ok i kinda understand what you mean but i dont have gsc exp. so im not sure on what the code should look like

everytime you kill someone the variable increase.

for example the variable starts at 1, that's your pistol.
You kill someone it's now 2 you should get a machine gun or something.
You kill someone it's now 3 you should get a shotgun or something.
Oops, someone knifed you the variable is now 2, you should get a machine gun or something again.

Think the code should like

PS: I'm almost sure that code doesn't work, it's just an example how it should look

i tested the script and got bad syntax when loading map so that code is not right but i will keep looking and keep seeing if someone can help thank for you input

You can always run a gcs compliler of some sort and search for errors

but you can also give us the lines of code that you think is wrong and our handy dandy mpgh members will help ^^
*just pls don't give the whole code if its hundreds of lines. xD
