The tut wont really help. They will have trouble re-creating the sprite after the device is changed / So their sprite will dissapear after a game.

Well then you need more d3d hooks, which it seems HS it good at picking up... IDK though. It's so simple though - to build classes that support an "Init", "On Reset", and "Draw"-like calls.
