[Question]Process
Is it possible to hide your trainer in the process list in the task manager?

Or if not, is it possible to change the process name?

I think you can change the process name in project properties..
Yes it is possible to hide your process from Task Manager. It's very complex, however.

As for changing the process name, just rename your hack file. If you want to do this at runtime, get the command-line of your app, which will have the file name in it, then copy it to a random name, run that, and exit the current instance.
not really complex... with the use of some API's it could be done. (there's lots of hidden processes that won't show up on task manager)

or try to inject that application into another running application.. like explorer.exe which is always running.

It's more difficult because this is managed code. Even if it were native, it's a mired of system calls that are not guaranteed to be the same by Microsoft in every Windows version.

Injection into explorer wont work unless you have a native DLL loader that will load CLR and then the managed DLL. .NET DLLs do not have an entry point that is called by Windows automatically.

about the injection part you are right, i never said he could do it with .NET (although this is the vb section)

using windows API's in .NET is the same as anywhere else... import the library and you are good know.. (its difficult, ok.. but not impossible or that complex). And im pretty sure that you know this already. You just want to be the mr "i know everything". I'm not going to argue with you because thats all you keep doing around this VB forum. You might be really good programmers and etc.. but you are not always the right one.
