how can i see if im banned?

on ure steam..

If it looks like this ur most likely banned.

Open steam > View > Settings > Look at VAC Status "Click here for more details."

or you lost your connection but than you couldn't be online on this forum xd

No it's offline check steam forums, steam is down for pretty much everyone.

Steam's been fucking with me aswell, randomly goes down and up, but when I go to my friend list most of my friends are on. Tought it's just me.

I thought Black Ops showed a message saying 'You have been banned from Black Ops', well that's what I thought when I was looking through the game's messages..

No, It says I'm clearly banned, and thats the message I get. Yeah, I made that folder for the screenshot

steam is back online people should be able to go back on black ops now

Just because you see that screen does not mean you are banned. It means you can not connect to the server which could be caused by the servers being down, your internet connection or a couple other things.

but most highly banned if you are on this forum
