hmm, if one of the most technology advanced country is filled with mostly atheists, does that say something about religion holding back?

That's relative, not an absolute amount. Hence, it doesn't matter how big or small the population is

So many people lie because they are to pussy to say they are Atheist. People even go to church just to look good

As paroxysm just pointed out, religion doesn't have much to do with their technological superiority. They just have a very fucked up culture and way of life (and that's what helped them achieve their success and also what causes all the suicides).
