Windows 7 SP1 breaks CA functionality.

I just recently upgraded to Windows 7 SP1 and realised that the game had stopped working and kept giving me a 204 error. I did a little research and found that others who installed SP1 could not play Combat Arms anymore. There seems to be some compatibility problems with HackShield and SP1 so is anyone with SP1 installed able to play still?

As of now, no CA for me.

works fine for me on x64 using combatarms_direct

Tried that, doesn't work.

Also using compatibility mode with 'Windows 7' or 'Windows XP (Service Pack 3)' doesn't work either. Anyway, I'm running x86.

Yeah, most likely. I've tried re-installing twice and it still doesn't work. I get error 204 though not 24. Nexon or AhnLab ned to fix the incompatibility because I am not happy about this and am not willing to uninstall SP1.

Anyway, maintanance for the problem.

I use to got vista home premium :/

So it doesn't work on SP1 does it work on Mac?? Im thinking about buying the new mac here soon.

Combat Arms does not support Mac unless you use multiboot and run Windows from your new Mac.

Ick, ill just stick with my AlianWare, and use the mac for editing stuff.
