XP Users: MUST READ: ABOUT STRIFES HACK!

OKAY GUYS READ THIS:
IM SORRY FOR POSTING ANOTHER ONE OF THESE, BUT CLEARLY THIS DOESNT INVOLVE RESTARTING COMPUTERS,RE-LOGGING IN ACCOUNTS, and other things that was very complicated.


I figured it out for XP People and this clearly works 100% for me.
Credits to: ARBITRARYDRONE,HELLAIM and ME!

1st:Go to C:\Nexon\CombatARMS. The click on the folder named
HSHIELD
-DELETE UPDATE FOLDER
-DELETE HSHIELD.txt
AND SUPDATE.txt |NOTEPAD|TXT|

2nd: Open Strife's hack (prefered original, not carms)

3rd: Open Combat arms, Press game start and right away PRESS OK!

4th: It should load, and it will give an error, and outside of it will be a black screen.

WITH THE ERROR AND THE BLACK SCREEN, CLICK ON THE BLACK SCREEN RIGHT AWAY OR IT WILL
MINIMIZE.

5th: HAVE FUN!
-NOTE-: ALWAYS DO STEP 1 WHEN YOU GO ON COMBAT ARMS. <----- VERY IMPORTANT.

Wouldn't it be better to simply move the update folder? Wouldn't you need it later?

Nope. Because when Hshield Updates again, it will be put back. So all you need to do is delete it everytime you try to get on combat arms.

Great, this seems a hell of alot easier than going through and deleting all the files individually. Plus when I restart my computer my monitor acts up and I have to select the Input. (it's a TV/Monitor combo)

umm.. which hshield? DATA, or TXT?

TXT. Or notepad as I call it.

is it just me, or whenever i start up combat arms wit this hack, even followin all these tuts.. it never loads or gives black screen i even press ctrl+alt+delete and its not even on processes or apps... and it gives me back the files even when im done deleteing and emptying trash bin -.-

Yeah it gives the files back. If you dont get an error, well idk. Are you using VISTA?

All this does for me is quits back to desktop, I can see about .3 seconds worth of a gray-white screen. All methods give me that....

or just load strifes hack load launcher
press game and right when HS pops up press ok

The only way for these files to reappear, or as you said gives back, is to start the HS Update. Without HS updating, the files won't just reappear. Maybe you have some sort of a Loss Data Recovery program going. To recover any recently deleted files that are queued by a program. Check with your parents??? maybe they do this for their work???

Ok, I spent some time with a guy online about this issue. It's probaly your timing, or your just not deleting all the files that are part of HSupdate. Don't hit OK to start the hack until about 40% of HS has been loaded (40% of the bar in the little screen in the lower right-hand corner).
Also, try restarting your PC after you delete the files/folder. It could help.

i had to restart cause my LastXP v21 sometimes has an error wit explorer.exe running on the processes..
well on restart i tried and it worked thnks alot again ='). EDIT: drone what u said may have been true.. cause i had Teatime from spybot S&D on, which does tht... but anyways probelms done, no harm, no foul.
