Computer is having problems.

Computer is having problems.
My computer randomly sometimes wont start, and just recently asked for a disk to reboot.
im surprised i made it to my desktop, i also think i have a virus but i dont know how i got it ?
And just to get back to my desktop my computer randomly went black with white letters and preformed a disk check.

im about to format and reinstall but i dont have my win7 disk atm so are there anyother options ?

DONT FORMAT.
Try to do a system restore to about 3-5 days earlier.
That always fixed my virus problems and shit.

Tried but it wont show anything days before except for some bullshit update that i just did today that didnt seem to help.

If i where you download windows XP it's like a 30 minute download and torrent windows 7 again...

Didnt torrent i actually had upgrade disk.

When i install xp through disk my network card for somereason wont let me connect to the internet through eithernet.

So i dont know what to do except format and im afraid to cut off my pc cause if i do there is another update.

But before i got to my desktop momments ago it was configuring update then for the first time it said configuring failed.
so is it a virus ?

You can restore you system to factory condition by pressing alt + F4 i think it is , the same shit happened to me once , and I called my manufacturer and they told me that if I don't have the disk that is what I can do . But you will lose all of your data . @StayTrue But you have to press those 2 buttons repeatedly while you are starting your PC .

kk i dont give a fuck about what is on my pc its not important and all re installable
if you are right ill fucking love you.
but if your wrong i probably wont be able to get to my desktop. .
