Need some help
Hey guys,

So I have already gotten the console to work and the hacks worked for me when I started a few days ago. However, it's not working for me anymore. I keep getting the following error when I try to launch either sinject or winject:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

Yes, I am running it as admin but I get the same error.
The problem started when I begun customizing my desktop. I installed rainmeter, fences, and rocketdock. Aside from that, I messed with the system startup programs through msconfig (which I'm pretty sure is the problem). But i turned them all on again and it didn't fix the error.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I would guess it could have something to do with rocketdock since it is an application launcher. I've never used it so I can't be sure exactly what it messes with system wise, but I would definitely look there.

Also what services did you mess with exactly, and did you reboot windows after turning them back on?
Yes, I have restarted my pc since. It actually happened yesterday but I didn't post my problem then because oddly enough, the hacks I binded still worked when I launched vindictus through the site, except for ohk and godmode. With the update though, none of them work except the instant shop bind.

Anyways, I initially set the "diagnostic start" but obviously that didn't turn out very well. Rright now I have everything turned on except for things like Apple software, steam, skype, etc.

I'll try disabling rocketdock and see if that helps.

Is the error when you are trying to open the injectors or when you try injecting with them.. If it's the latter did you try reselecting the path to Vindictus?
I get the error when I try to open it.
soo...have you tried redownloading the injector(s)? *cough*
and windows sometimes does weird things to our toys...so check the "security" settings on it and make sure your user has full permissions,
right click the injecter
select options
click the security tab

and if you don't have full control (as shown on the security tab) play with it and beat it into submission until you do. ^__^ if that doesn't work and redownloading doesn't work...well...we'll find a way. It's what hax do.
Yep, I've done all that already. The injector has full permissions and I've redownloaded them several times.

The only thing I can think of doing now is uninstalling rocketdock and/or rainmeter. disabling them and restarting didn't help.

If uninstalling those doesn't work, things to check (and i'm going to sleep so hopefully someone else can help you if this stuff doesn't work)

1: the injecter IS somewhere you have permissions to, I.E. the desktop (sorry for the derp suggestion but I'm an IT so going through the basics first is a habbit)
2: the injecter has an exception in your AV to allow it to run or your AV is turned off when you're trying to run the injecter
3: if you want, you can try logging on as admin and running the injecter? This only helps if you're comfortable on the admin account of your computer (some people aren't, you can cause some awesome damage if you start touching things) and if you want to try that, you can always google "activate the admin account on <insert OS here>"
Ok so I've been busy the past few days but I'm back now. I'm having trouble uninstalling rocketdock. I tried uninstalling it through the control panel (and it said it uninstalled) but all the folders are still there and the .exe file still lets me open it. It doesn't show in the control panel anymore.

Also, I ran my computer in safe mode and sinject worked (pretty sure this means it's not a permission error).

I'm going to try your third suggestion since 1 and 2 I've already done.

EDIT:
Ok well, the Administrator account didn't help at all. I still got the same error. I manually deleted all the folders related to rocketdock but no dice.

I'm completely out of ideas.
OKAY I GOT IT WORKING.
Apparently it was AVG blocking it; I think I disabled the interface that informs me of AVG blocking a program (probably msconfig) instead of disabling the actual AV. I'm going to try to reinstall rocketdock and see if there's any issues.

Thanks for your help guys.
