Which pc should i get?

My budget is about 1200$, so these r the options im considering: HP envy 14, I can upgrade this one a lil since its only 1000.
Alienware m14x is the second option, the only upgrade i can make to this is prob only the cpu or the gpu.
The 3rd option is the dell xps, I can prob make some major upgrades to this since the baseline model is only 800$
The last option is the macbook pro, haha, I cant make any upgrades on this cause its so fricking expensive.

OR, should I jus get a desktop?

if ur gonna get a desktop, dont get an alienware desktop. idk about their laptops but the other thing is overpriced. if you custom build u can get a better pc and it will be cheaper.
