Thanks for the guide. I just do low settings in CA, but i'm sure this will help countless people.
i hope u ment decrease laggyness not increase. and yeah like boss said, just go minimum settings :O
Thank you , nice tut
My fps is only at 30. Could you add more ideas?
nice tut. thanyou
My Combat Arms does that automaticly I don't even have to change the Style it does it for me
If you want your computer to look like a windows 97 computer, by all means do this.
heres a GREAT tip that worx. u can keep graphics and ur theme! GET A NEW COMPUTER!
I have a few ideas that might help decrease lag.

1) Decrease the screen resolution in game from whatever it is to something as bad as '800x600.' Not the best graphics, obviously, but it will surely decrease lag dramatically all on it's own.

2) Change the graphics quality from High, or Medium, or even Custom, to low. This will insure that everything is set to the lowest possible setting.

3a) Open 'Task Manager' (Ctrl + Alt + Del on your keyboard for those who, for some reason, don't know what 'Task Manager' is....) End any processes you can see that are useless.

3b) If you can't figure out which ones are useless and which ones are vital, download "Gamebooster" and use it when you're about to play CA.

4) If you are using the 'CombatArms_Direct' executable to start the game, have task manager open when you press Game Start. Once you press game start, look in 'Task Manager' for 'Engine.exe' and right click on it. After you right click on it, change it's priority to either 'Above Normal' or 'High.'

5) Change the screen resolution of the game to '800x600.' Not the best graphics, obviously, but it should decrease lag fairly well.

6) Change graphics quality to 'Low.' No matter what your settings are in custom, use 'Low' to insure that all graphics options are at their lowest possible value.

Thank me if this helped at all.
