BF3 playable?
My PC has not been running so good. About 2 years ago CoD MW would stutter when playing =/ I thought it was FPS but I think its actually CPU.

Crysis 2 plays better on my PC than Combat arms.... (stutter)

Win XP sp2 Home 32bit
Pentium 4 Prescott 660 3.6ghz
2GB ram (4x 512mb sticks)
Radeon Sapphire HD 5770 1gb gddr5/ Nvidia XFX 9800GTX Black 512mb GDDR3

I also have an issue with my system becomming very defragged each day? (is this from alot on C Drive or Desktop? I'm not using much space on main drive (about 83gb used of 153gb - and second duplicate HD + 600gb external)
I'm not sure if XP supports the version of directx that BF3 uses. Also you don't have much RAM 2GB is the minimum requirement.

And the video card idk. I'm not a hardware expert.
Precisely what Fogest replied, BF3 will likely not have support for DirectX 9, so it would benefit you to upgrade to Windows 7, and then upgrade RAM to at least 4 GB as that OS is more RAM consuming.

Upgrading can be free anyway so why not upgrade. But I won't go into detail how here. If you don't know how PM me.

I normally use file hoster sites to download warez but I used a torrent for Win 7 only because it's a big file.

WinXP doesn't support latest directs which I'm pretty sure game requires. Also in min specs it says Windows Vista is the min. So OS probably needs a upgrade.

You wouldn't even be able to start it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your system is old. Your ram is the bare minimum, and your CPU and OS don't even come close.
Lol no you wont even be able to play it on low.
Well i thing XP is the best for gaming.....

Lolno.

XP is 10 years old. It's time to wake up and get Win7. Sorry.
You should get a better processor and a new motherboard to support the processor.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955
Mainboard: ASUS M5A88-M
Graphic: AMD Radeon HD 6670
Ram: 4GB
is that also good?
2001 called they want their OS back, time to upgrade pal get with 2011. Win 7 64bit runs better than any OS before it including your precious ancient XP.
