Angel Beats! Ending

Can someone explain the ending of angel beats. How come you see Otonashi touch Kanade Tachibana on the back at the end(6:52), when shes in our world? WHen Otonashi is clearly left alone in the high school?(3:45)

Otanashi couldn't bare to stay alone yet they found eachother again trough the rebirth of thier spirits... ~damn this sounds so.

The ending was shit. Sorry, they BOTH should have dissapeared.

Anyway yuki found out that kyon had given her his heart in order to stay alive. Didn't work out, but then when she says "i love you" thats what it took for her to go.

But in retrospect that was pretty lame considering kyon had to stay there and what the fuck is this "rebirth" shit. Its so lame.

I personally think halfway through they were like "SHIT WE GOTTA END THIS" and they tried to end it quickly spending the least they could.

Well ok lamest part of the end was that normally everyone had the chance to forfill his/her previous thing he or she missed out of in life but then all of the sudden they all where prepared~. I honestly see this still as a good serie but this is what i do miss.

How can everyone disappear when Otonashi was clearly left behind.

Rebirth can't work in the same time period.

maybe he later left the world and got re birthed?

The only thing I didn't understand is how Otonashi got there after Kanade, even though he obviously died first.

I FINALLY GET THE ENDING. If you seen Angel Beats!13.5 Another Epilogue you can see Otanshi left behind and helping people get rebirthed (what he did to his friends, Tk, Kanade, Yui) by fulfilling there lives.

Then his own life gets fulfilled and is later rebirted, then you see Kanade humming the song and Otashi reaching out to her.

:/ dude how do you not get the ending, they explain it for like 5 episodes.

The ending has nothing wrong with it.
They both rebirth and met each other.

First off, you can't be rebirthed in the same era you died in.

Secondly, why even have rebirthed? Heaven seems like the obvious right way to go with this, rebirth just means that what happened there had absolutely no effect on what would have happened anyway.

My idea was that it never had a good plot in same way, Like the story didn't explain much in their. For all we know they could have been sleeping, but idk.
