Whats wrong with my Ps3?
So it took my ps3 over to my friends to try and sell it, and it was working just fine before i brought it over...

but for some reason its not working now, and another guy brought his ps3 over and it worked just fine.. so im assuming that it is my ps3 that is fucked

so the problem is, when i turn my ps3 on everything looks like its working but then on the t.v there's no picture or sound.. and usually i use an HDMI cord but there t.v didnt have one. so we had to find the white and red cord and still nothing...

Anyway to fix this? or is it broken, and i got the ps3 in January i believe, is there a way i can return it for a new one? or am i too late?
Try google first
I could be a fag and say, the thing wrong with it is it's not a xbox.
But check the cables. They're not always the correct colors.

Yeah bro i double checked and everything and we brought another ps3 over and it worked just fine... with same cables and everything... so im just.. idk lol
It's your settings. I had that problem when I set it so that HDMI was enabled then hooked it up to another screen w/o HDMI. I thought my PS3 got jacked up but all I had to do was change the settings.

Ahh okay i hope thats the problem, see i have never used the other cables before, only HDMI. so how would i go about changing the settings if i get no picture
I guess take it back home, change it and then then test AT HOME with a/v cables, and then take it back over there
The problem might be dust or something. It happened to my old xbox. Had a lot of dust, ended up "melting" (or some shit like that) my video card thing.
Hmm okay when ever i go back over, i'll see what i can do..
thanks for the help.
hope it works ;P
Really need to sell it.
Check the Yellow, Red, and White cords, they could be not pushed in all the way.
I fixed it guys. i just had to hold down the power button for like 5 seconds to reset all the settings to default then it worked (:
Thank you Dave.
