im retardedI have the "My Computer" and "Recycle Bin" and my desktop pretty much all. Everything I use is in quick launch.

And well, actually the recycling bin won't take up anymore room than the OS takes up as long as you clean it out. The recycling bin is component of the OS.

To remove the Recycle Bin from the desktop, clear the Recycle Bin check box.
