devcat developer's note mentioned about pet (KR)

Speculation for pets:

1- You will need mats to craft a pet. Which means if you want a good pet, you will need 60x a rare mat, 30x another rare mat and 25x another rare mat. You will also need a few common drops, which will be impossible to buy in the first few days without going crazy in stupid boat 1 dungeons.

2- You can enhance your pets. Ferghus' hand will slip. Your pet will break. You will get half the mats back: a few legs, some fur/feathers, a few liters of blood, 1 ear, 1 eye, a few teeth. Break another 1 and you create a frankenstein pet with parts from both.

3- You can scroll your pets. You will fail everytime, making your pets go *poof* and making you rage.

4- Someone will find a way to make +15 pets. He will sell them for 500$.

5- You will have a shitload of stupid Nx items to put on your pets.

6- You will have even more shitloads of Nx related shit for you pets.

7- The AI will be shit.

8- Pets will make the host lag like shit, because it's already rare to have a good host for 8-man raids.

9- Those small bones you get in ortel will be usable by dog pets. Finally some use for those freakin items. (can you craft anything good with those small bones?)

10- More Nx useless shit.

11- You will see boats: 15k att and 8k def pets only.

12- No *name a Lann related pet* allowed boats

That's about it.

This post just summarized what Vindictus will be from now on... Pets are just going to shit even more on this game...

When I think of pets, I think of golems.
Works like shit. Gets in the way. Stucks you against a wall. Blocks your way when you try to dodge. Makes it that you don't see shit, can't see the boss well, so you don't actually see the attacks and you can't really dodge, cause you don't see shit. Can't reach the boss through the golem and can't see crits, which is a pain for lanns.
Oh... and there's also the funny part where you can "dismiss" the golem and the blocks fall on the boss stunning it or fall on someone and kills him.

only good thing it can do for me is look nice and if even help provide me luck and other stats or is an auto core pick-up ai
