IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT MCAFEE, Part DEUX!

Hello all,

Today we will be releasing another patch that will enable new anti-cheat protections in War Rock. Some of these protections are much harsher than we have done in the past and we have refrained from doing these mostly due to compatibility issues with specific anti-virus programs such as McAfee. The patch we are releasing today is currently being detected by McAfee as a trojan. This means that many McAfee users will not be able to launch War Rock due to certain constrains by McAfee.

Due to this we are advising ALL players who use any version of McAfee Anti-Virus to DISABLE McAfee when playing War Rock. You MUST do this BEFORE you launch War Rock and you MUST do this EVERY TIME you launch War Rock. We HIGHLY recommend you turn McAfee ON when you are not actively playing War Rock.

All that said, McAfee is working on a fix for this issue but have not provided us with a release date on when that fix will be ready. We HIGHLY recommend that players using McAfee make it a habit to turn McAfee OFF before playing War Rock.
