the most violent anime i know is higurashi, its not as bloody as hellsing, but it makes up for it in the just the pure brutaltality of it.

Trust me, this is one twisted anime, try watching it, but not if your sqeemish. Or you could just get a AMV from youtube, that should tone down the violence but give you a glimpse.

but its twisted. not as bloody, even dvd didnt have as much gore as i expected to it have

eh i thought it was a saw-like anime, it does have a messed up timeline, but that fingernail part i think takes the cake for me.

The only other anime is hellsing, but that hasn't come out to the gory part yet.

Gantz is the most violent and obscene/grotesque anime ive seen in a long very good Lots of nudity blood gore and swearing its also half 2d half 3d looks very nice first ep guys head gets cut off and he is still thinking while his heads flying though th air good anime can prolyy watch the whole thing (all 26 eps) on youtube still
