ok, so i'm trying to lvl up a fiona for a friend and max it out a bit, never played one before, i'm at the point where i'm trying to get the title long hammer bearer so i can use hammers, but i've spent like 20 min pummeling gnolls in friends with every heavy object i can get my hands on and the count is still at 8/30, what am i doing wrong.

You have to log out; then log back in. Vindictus's counter isn't in real-time...

i have, 3 times, and it was at 8/30 after the 3rd relog, i've gotten perilous ruins cleaner so i know i've smashed over a hundred so far, idk, i guess i'll just keep going, shoulda been done after the first run on friends, bs.

You have to smash the gnolls (right click), not just pummel them. Good luck, though, however you manage it.

I believe it's like @LizLiz96 says and you have to use "smash attacks" , "right click" attacks, not hit with objects.
