Question about the bann system

Good moring all...

I just looked this question up and couldnt find an answer so im gonna just hope I didnt over read it.

If I use a second account to bot and Vindictus detects it, will they bann both of my accounts or just the bot?
The thing is, is that I have a high end char with good stats, ap, gear and weapon. I would like to bot a bit but I really dont want to lose my account.

So does vin bann per account or per ip?

I wonder if they could ban main not by IP but by tracking mail transactions.

Here are a few tips to not get banned.

1) Use different ip addresses for bots and main. Use a proxy, or reset your modem/router when logging from bot to main.

2) This may seem obvious but don't use similar username/pass for main and bot accounts.

3) When transferring gold. You can set up an item with however much price as the amount you wish to transfer, on the AH, with your main. Then have your bot account buy it. (ie, let your main sell a broken arrow for 20mil on the ah, then get your bot to buy it). You lose a bit of money to the AH this way, but it's safer than mailing.

4) Don't bot one boat too frequently.

5) If you really like your main, don't bot. There's always a risk no matter what you do.

People have reported their mains getting banned without ever using hacks so Nexon might be aware of the transfer-from-alt-to-main trick. This really sucks because if you hack, you're putting everything on the line. I guess with hacks, you could get everything easily but you could also lose everything easily too.

Nah, that theory is wrong too. I've never transferred anything from my alt to my main, and my main still got banned. Even the ES on my main are from random people on market place.

Probably very unlucky. I'm thinking that Hackshield is uploading log files whether people consent or not. If you look at some of the log files in the \Documents\Vindictus\Report Error folder, you will see some of them contain character names and what activity they are doing. I can't read the Hackshield logs though, since they are encrypted.

I think in this banning incident, legit people also got banned in the process. Maybe it just part of Nexon's messed up thus that why they unbanned everyone.

anyone using hacks as of last patch soon as u log out or it crashes u loose acount do to restriction just lost another i just made 2 days ago so i think nexon is on top of it restricting acounts fast good luck on new ones i think they have auto bann!
