Is it illegal?

Me and my friend over xbox both have our accounts downloaded on each of our xboxes, he lives in Texas and I live in Canada, and I was going to use the credit card on his account to buy battlefield 3 without him knowing, i've known him for 2 years, If he finds out could I get into alot of trouble?

Well if he finds out he can report you for using his credit card without his permission, so yes you can get in trouble.

Maybe if you ask him perhaps? However if he says no and you still buy the game it will be damn obvious...

Just ask him if you can buy it and say you will pay him back and just don't.

Just ask him instead of going behind his back.

Does he have the game? If he does can't you just download it to your Xbox and play it via his account without paying any money?

(I've never digitally purchased games over Xbox 360 so I don't know.)

I'm quite sure that isn't possible use the same account in different locations at the same time.

Oh, I didn't mean at the same time. :P I just meant when his friend isn't on. I can see how that may be an issue if they want to play together or something but then again, stealing his money to buy it wouldn't help that out either. :S
