@Dark Side has the same problem ...
Guys i have a solution, worked perfect for me. In the start menu search bar, type "cmd"

"cmd.exe" should be one of the first things on the list

Right Click "cmd.exe" and select "Run as administrator"

The command prompt window should now appear

Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press "Enter" on your keyboard

Then type "netsh winsock reset" and press "Enter" on your keyboard

Reboot your PC.

Thanks if i helped. But also since i helped this error, for crossfire phillipines, i have a version.ini error. I change it to what they say and even download the files the GMs post. It use to say ''invalid version client please reinstall'' but now it freezes on Verifying in the patching stage, and then says failed to download patch file list.

server problem??
my friends can play with no problems , doubt it's server problem T_T
Oh sorry. but that worked for me 1st try, maybe try it again? And did you restart your computer afterwards?
This Might Work

Download Game Booster (Google It)

Restart Your System.

Launch CF If It Didn't Work,Delete Z8 Games Folder And Setup The Game Again

Thank Me If I Helped.
If it's not only you, then most probably it's a server issue. Not sure why. Try disconnecting your internet for a bit. Then put it back in. See what happens.
was able to pass the first server screen but can't pass the channel screens -_-
