New computer?

New computer?
I've found an awesome laptop for 6000DKK (800 euro), which I am considering getting - What do you think?
6GB RAM, intel core i7 (3rd gen.) 3.1GHz processor, Quad-core, NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M - 2 GB graphic card, and a 15.6" screen.
Komplett.dk - Toshiba Satellite P850-30W 15.6" HD
The site is on danish, but you should hopefully be able to understand the important stuff

Honestly... For 800 euros, you could build your own PC and it would be atleast 10x better.

You could have 16/32gb ram (cheap component), paired with a kick arse processor, (probably i7), and build it to suit your needs.

Building computers isn't as difficult as it sounds.

Never built a Laptop.... But i'm sure it's pretty similar....

Seriously you could make something amazing with just 500euros... Nevermind 800 euros..

If you're 100% planning on buying one already made... I wouldn't know what to suggest because they always fuck you over in specifications..

You might have a sick processor but you want a nice chunk of good quality ram to keep your system running flawlessly, and for some reason if you want 16gb ram+ on a pre-made PC/laptop, they charge fucking loads. But you can buy 4x4gb sticks of Corsair RAM off Amazon for just £77GBP..

the graphics are kinda meh you would not even be able to run bf3 at minimum on that

Define what you mean by run? I mean 640m is deifnitely capable of running it. If you can live with low FPS.

yeah i was a little vague. i meant that it cant run the game on low with fps over 40

If you're gonna' spent 800 euros i'd make sure it's perfect for you before you buy.

Everything there looks nice except that 640m.\

and no you can't build a custom laptop from scratch.

it would be pretty difficult to start from scratch, buy a pre made one and start on that.

Around 20-30. Playable, but only just.
