XCOM/Dishonored thread

Been playing Dishonored and less than an hour it it's great definitely worth the buy for me at least as for xcom I'm not sure if I want to get it any suggestions?

Uh, it's a choice-based game where you control a squad of 4 - 6 elite special force soldiers that can go from an a platoon of 4 soldiers with assault rifles to 6 troops with rocket launchers, plasma/laser weapons, and armor that can allow them to fly. You have to make a lot of hard decisions though, and troops die a lot.

All-in-all, XCOM is more about long-term strategy outside of the battles, where the battles are strategic in that flanking, superior firepower, and probably exercising 2 team-tactics always win.

seems like my type of game, i might look into it.

I have Dishonored and trust me it's worth getting. People may say it feels like bioshock kind of does but that's just a little part of the game.
Still waiting for XCOM though not sure if i'll get that one, probably pirate instead.

Has anyone played X-COM yet? How is it?

Buy XCOM, it has a campaign that has some loose structured story missions, but the rest are randomly generated. You could be defusing an alien bomb, invading an alien facility, shooting down a UFO then exploring the ruins for survivors, saving civilians from aliens, etc.

To me, it's probably the game I'm going to get the most gameplay out of titles that release this year. I'd highly recommend it if you're interested in it.
