It works for me.
Write:

Code:

90 90 90 90 90   to   0x0054F8F9 to turn it on.
E8 E2 61 F2 FF   to    Same addresss above to turn it off.

I have been using this for some time.

Then you press the: Hex
- Check It -

The you press the: Enable Multi
- Check It -

And you paste this:
- 90 90 90 90 90 -

In the with box. And press Hack

You could use Cheat Engine.
And use the Memory View there

Thx for explaining @GhostHax
But for the record, IW5M resets the values every now and then so it's best to freeze the values(Press Space when the address is hilighted)
Also im not sure about the protection of it and if they barred write access in which cause you'll need to make the page writable.
