If you understand anything about quantum mechanics you would know that photons are the most basic form of existence, essentially actual teleportation of an object or a person is completely possible in a theoretical sense. I believe some of the obvious things to overcome would be making sure the teleportee has all of his photons in the right place when gets to where he's going. Which would probably require a God-like advancement in current IT & corresponding AI abilities, in-order to make systems that can deal with the infinity scale of complexity, in making needed calculations at a fast enough pace.
