Randomly Global Banned?

I was playing some DayZ today and I entered DE 3358, a non-BattleEye server that was posted here on MPGH. I went on the server to see the craziness of the hackers but as soon as I left the server I was global banned. This key is literally hack free, it has never been used to inject a single script. Could anyone help me out understanding why I was banned?

You went on a server that was hacked

Did you buy that key from here?
If so, the seller most likely re-sold that key for more money then the idiot who bought it got it banned.
OR.
Whoever the key was stolen from could've got it back and then got it banned.

Both are possibilities although it could be something different altogether

It's a Arma2 OA Key from Steam. Anyways, I'm broke and an Arma2 key isn't on my budget. -sigh-

i got banned too... just because i played on the server... Battleye i love you^^

Yeah, I just want standalone to come out. Battleye has gotten on my last nerve lately. Anything is better than Battleye.

Well you will have to wait a while for the standalone heard it would first come out in like 6-12months

Email battleeye tell them you where mistakenly banned for joining a server and I am sure they will unban you

Battleye from what I hear has horrible customer service, so they might not even respond.

Prob.becauea they only care about money but still it's worth trying

Be honest, by "I went on the server to see the craziness of the hackers" you meen you wanted to go get some spawned stuff?

I emailed them about when I was just randomly banned out of the blue, they said it was a legitiment ban and that they weren't going to give me any info on it because "hackers would love this information".
