I have now saved enough money from selling DayZ keys that i have enough money to get some upgrades. However I can't decide between getting a new mobo or a new CPU.
What do you think? My current Motherboard isn't very good but can support that CPU. But I dont know whether I should get the new Motherboard first so that overclocking will be easier in the future.
I wouldn't really want to get an eight core processor and a very high end motherboard.

Why? 10chars
You don't need it.
Save it for a graphics card or something

Thats true, although the motherboard I have now is pretty crappy. Doesn't have space for any sound cards etc.
Doesn't mean you need a very higher end motherboard

Wouldn't his crappy cpu bottleneck his gpu if he bought a new one?

I'm saying to get mid end components, not just a graphics card.

I would like to run Crossfire, however my motherboard doesn't have enough room. And if I did get Crossfire surely my CPU will create a bottleneck as @Sector A7 said.

He thought I meant do not buy those at all and just buy a graphics card.
I personally wouldn't buy an 8 core processor.
I know there's not much AMD boards supporting multi graphics cards but if that's the only one you can find well then that's okay.

Ow I get what you mean now, I'm going to think it over, because I think I do need better processor, but would also like a new mobo to overclock with. thanks for the help!
