How do you guys feel about your parents?

Honestly, I know I may sound like an ungrateful dick, but I hate my parents. Used to be utterly abusive (physically and verbally, smacked, punched, choked, harassed, etc), still blame me for all of their problems, they just recently put a location tracker on my phone when I have never done anything wrong, and never let me see my girlfriend because they "hate" her for no reason.

They also said if I have a single missing assignment in any class, they'll take away my car. That's pretty fucking ridiculous.

Call the police if they're physically abusing you...

a location tracker should be pretty easy to fuck over

Tell your dad he's a dick and call your mom a bitch, hide your car keys. Why thhe fuck would you let your parents treat you like that?

Move out. Thats what I did. Mom was super controlling, threatened to take away and shred my license, so I told her I was moving out. Moved in with my dad, and after he started doing similar stuff, I just moved on my own.

Its nice to be living with the chains gone. My house is a wreck, I sleep or play vidya when Im not at work, have big loud parties, plenty of women over, and guess what? Nobody says a thing. Nice life.

I wish. I have nowhere to go, and I can't support myself, definitely not at my age. My parents wouldn't let me leave anyways.

You need your parent's permission to run away? That makes no sense.

If im not mistaken, if you are 16 you can declare yourself independent or some shit. But Im tired and about to pass out so I probably am mistaken. But saying you need permission to move out is stupid. If you are old enough to say you are independent, you are. Nothing they can say would stop it. Dont expect any support from them though.

You could go in therapy with your parents to improve the relation.
