So I'm kinda new to this stuff. Few days ago, I got a GB... And I feel stupid for it
I discovered Armex (A "Mission" with everything in the game but without respawns) with my pal. We played it but afterwards I got bored of it as we had to restart the server when we wanted the vehicles to respawn.
Since Private server hosted trough the game don't use BattleEye I decided to find some simple hack like infiStar.
So ye, I found it, not here, but on the worst place where I could have gotten it from... YouTube. I knew about this site filled with good working hacks and stuff, but didn't really think about it when I wanted the hack to spawn the vehicles.
So ye, it appears that the Injector I used was a KeyStealer. I used 1 injector from YT, It didn't really work (But it stole my KEY, Didn't realize it did until I got banned), then I came back to these forums and tried the WinJect. It didn't work for me either. My PC is blocking the injections somehow. So anyways. I gave up on injecting and using these hacks and went back to play Wasteland on a BE server. Everything was working fine untill the other day when I wanted to play with my Squad. At 17:00 I could still play on the server but 3 hours later. Boom. I try to join the server and it appears that my CD key has been... Globally Banned. Well, I gotta say, Well played to whoever got my key...
And the main thing is that I want to buy a new CD key. But not sure if it's even worth the 1-3 dollars when I read about the bans and shit.
People are talking about Ban Waves. What are they actually.
If I buy a CD key from "jayhop" and play like I did all the time, without any bloody key stealers or any hacks, will my key still get banned in this "Ban Wave"? Or... How does the Ban Wave work, I don't feel like buying a new CD key each day if I play normally without anything enabled.

I have A2OA on Steam and I know how to change the KEY and play on Steam with a new CD key on the same account.

How do the Ban Waves work, Do they ban every cheap CD key?
