    [Help] Upgrading my PC...

So.. I've come to the conclusion I'll buy myself a new CPU and GPU. (Current being AMD Phenom II x4 960t + Radeon HD 6870)

I've put up 2 viable upgrades, and I need your comments helping me decide which one of these to go with.

    2. Kundvagn - 2013-04-22 - Inet.se

With the first package I get a brand new I5, great CPU. + HD 7950

Second: No need for a new motherboard (My current has AM3+ socket), Better CPU than before, + HD 7970

I've also heard, the HD 7950 overclocks better than 7970, but I know nothing about overclocking, maybe time for me to learn?

    They aren't even full builds
That's less than half of the build.

    Oh sorry my bad
I suggest going with the second one if you REALLY want one of those two upgrade links.
For cooling I suggest getting the corsair H110
    If you don't really have a budget get a 670 or 680 and an i7 2600k - 3770k

i Agree with TheTerroriser1, intel is the best, a 670 or 680 is Prime video card, and Good fan to keep it all cooled for you

The build with the 7950 doesn't look too bad.
Not much experience with AMD card due to horrible drivers but if you get a good overclock on the 7950 there's no need going for the 7970.

Geforce has Legacy drivers tho and updates drivers, its easy to upgrade. legacy drivers. The last update i installed, did this GeForce 314.22 WHQL Drivers: Ready For BioShock Infinite | GeForce seems like the legacy drivers make games run twice as well

The intel is great for gaming while the amd is great for rendering, so your choice would depend on what your primary use for it is.
