Hey there,

I have a question regarding the file player.txt in the Nexon\Combat Arms\Profiles
folder. It seems at one time it was plain text but now it seems nexon has encrypted it. Is there anyway to unencrypt (decrypt?) this file. Or at least make it understandable. Even knowing how, or the type of encryption would suffice.

Oh, thanks for your help and sorry bout posting in the wrong section. I'm new here. I'll keep in mind to pay more attention. Hmm out of curiosity, what would happen if i replaced my player.txt with the one you are providing me? This should be interesting. Thanks again for your help.

the only thing that will happen is the settings and controls you have set in combat arms will be reset to the default settings. Make a copy of this also because i dont know if combat arms will re-encrypt it or not... lol

Hmmm as an aside, were the virus scans really necessary for a text file? If someone managed to hide a virus in a text file I would gladly accept the virus.

Probably not. but i put a virus scan with any attachment i post. it says to always post a virus scan, in the forum rules for this section lol
