Rate my build!
Hi there guys, this is my build!

Specs:
Case: Corsair Obsidian 800D
CPU: Intel Core i7 3930K 4.5GHz
Motherboard: MSI X79A-GD65 8D
RAM: 32Gb Vengeance 1600 MHz
GFX: MSI Radeon HD 7970 3GB
PSU: Corsair TX 850 Watt
HDD's: 500 GB 7.2k RPM + 1TB 7.2k RPM
SSD: Corsair 120Gb Force GT
Watercooling: Custom.

This is how it looked before I changed my CPU, Moterboard and watercoolant.


Right after I've swapped CPU, Mobo and watercoolant.
The water had been mixed with some UV-Yellow that was stuck in the
radiator! But it dosn't look like that anymore since I was flushing the loop on this pic.


THis is how it looked when I only had 16GB ram.

better pic when the battery is charged!

This is how it looks now! 32GB ram. 6 core Intel CPU etc etc.

I enjoy it, but I am going to swap the GFX to a 680 soon! And might go
2x or 3x SLI on that!

very dusty! I'm way to lazy to clean it...

Since it's a custom build I can't tell you how much it cost.

I've upgraded it alot since I started building it from the beginning.
But if I would add everything I've bought for it etc the total price spent on it
would land on aprox 11000 - 12000 USD.

Buddy I think you have an extra zero on there. That build couldnt top 3 grand in USD if it tried.

No it's correct. I said that I calculated everything I've ever bought for it. And
I've made a shitload of unneccesary boughts for it...

Like when I went from a 2600k to an 2700k... Etc etc.

The whole computer as it is now wouldent go for much at all.

Even still. 11 grand in USD equates to at least 3 extremely powerful computers (moreso than this one could ever be).

And you never add up the totals of all previous parts when saying how much a build is. If I did that, my current one could be running me over 6 grand despite the build only having around 2grand in it.

That is correct. But since I don't live in the US I can't tell the exact price etc. Because everything is more expensive here in Sweden.

Not even my build would go over 2 grand atm. I do see your point.

Pricing at those specs sits around $1700 USD. Throw on another 500 for a mid grade LC loop.
