I remember few years ago when General section was so active.

we were getting like 1 new thread every 3 or 5 min or so (I don't really know)

the idea of this is that there was so many threads to spam in general section

you'll be getting like 60+ per day for those who were pretty much online all the time.

now its still cool but its not as active as it was before, I guess we should blame facebook and twitter and other social-network.

I for one want the old general back. Way more spam, way more butthurt. Its just a fucking forum so nobody really cares if you post a bunch of shit anyways, so long as it isnt shit like ads or just agl;ksdgj;lkg. Plus discussions seemed better and more involved then.
