I would need some help with a project *over tv*

Hello I am gonna start off by saying I am a total noob at C#.... So back on topic my friend has created a .img viewer and I have the source code I have lost contact with him but id like to fix it since the save doesn't work on windows 7 and id like some help making it work again

this project is quite complex or seems like it so hopefully I can get some help
I would like to do this over tv if possible so I can learn a little about c#
