Hacking in Minecraft

How does hacking in Minecraft work? I've seen people uploading clients. My friend has a server, so basically I just download a decent, well-known client, I can join the server and start using the hack? Is there hacks that are detectable? I doubt MC has a anti-cheat

Wrong section. And it's pretty hard to explain but yes once you join the server you can start using the client. if the server has plugins that alert the administrators if someone is moving faster than normal, flying, breaking blocks too fast, etc then you will probably get caught. And you are right MC doesn't have an anti-cheat but if you own a server you can get Anti cheat plugins. plugins are basically just an addon to the server so everyone has a better gameplay.

Sorry for posting in the wrong section, wasn't sure where to post. What clients do you suggest? I don't plan on trolling. I just want a small advantage. Be able to build faster

Ehh.. Nodus was good but the owner stop making it. I'd suggest the obsidian client or Xenon client.

Is Kinky and Xenon the same? Not so sure about it..

You can start hacking, but the server may have a type of cheat prevention plugin. The server can pick up when someone is doing something that they aren't supposed to such as flying or breaking blocks too fast. So pretty much when you have a hack, some features will work and some wont.
