TeamWork v2.0.0.1
So I've been working on a team management and collaboration software to work in groups on your projects. This release is a pre-alpha version and is very glitchy. However I hope that you guys might take a little time to see it and tell me what you think. Hosting a TeamWork server requires a PC or a dedicated server (Depends on you).

In this release you can do pretty much anything like Chatting, Submitting code updates or review updates committed by others. Full feature list will be unlocked on the beta or stable release. Until then please give me any kind of feedback or report any kind of bug! (Read the "README.txt" file for more info)

To setup your server properly follow these steps:
  1. Edit or create a new Project File.
  2. Edit the file "config.ini", and enter your external IP (which can be found here), the RCON Password and the startup project file.
  3. Save and close the file "config.ini".
  4. Run "TeamWork Server.exe".
  5. Enjoy!

This is how to edit a project file:
I would recommend to use the sample one provided with the server download (whatever.twproj). Just open it with notpad and modify your details. To add a new file add a line with the text:
Code:
File='<Your Path To The File>'
An example would be:
Code:
File='D:\test.cpp'
The General information section, contains the global information for the project. Only the Project Name and Language type are mandatory to edit. Anything else is optional. As for the files section it contains the files of the project. On later releases I will provide a "Setup Wizard" for the server.

Server Virus Scans:
  1. Virus Total
  2. Jotti's Malware Scan

Client Virus Scans:
  1. Virus Total
  2. Jotti's Malware Scan

Hope you like it!

Hey,
the idea behind your project is pretty good, but i think a "teamwork"-software needs some good gui.
Also you'll have to need a server running 24/7.. and no local, cause you'll have to communicate and see changes whenever a "programmer" goes online..
i could write alot more concerning this... maybe we could get thogether in some private messaging...
And have a closer look at the microsoft team foundation server... it maybe got some inspirations... or the workgroup-edition..

We can, I'm writing a master server right now, but it will only work as a "bridge" between clients and the current servers. However if you can help me we can sure form a team. PM me.

(PS) - the hacking convention method had server side abilitys to allow only certain users you add into a user list to be able to edit / extract your "data" or soure-code.
Never heard of that tbh. I've been working on this for months but I'm really lazy and might have made modifications only a few days So pretty much it took like 30 days to make this.

Can't say that I'm pro, but I'm pretty good at what I do. I'm talking about the communication part, you should have a vast knowledge about System.Net and System.Net.Sockets. You will be working with HTTP requests/responses, sockets etc. It's really all about that.

Well im not trying to infringe and say you "copied" that project. Im implying it's very similar and i envy projects that are long dead and bought back from death by someone who thinks up creative idea's and constructs them continue with this project and make it flawless and ill be happy to see the project in the future. Good Work.

I wasn't trying to say that you meant I copied that project, and thanks mate. If you could advertise this software it would be great!
