About premium weapons

I have been playing bf3 for about 15hours and was kinda in love to a weapon L86A2. It has all the abilities to dominate everyone, but as i read i have seen that it can only be unlocked by getting 20squad supports and 20light machine gun kill in the close quarters. Is that true? And only way to unlock it by buying close quarters espansion pack?

That would be the only way to unlock it. There are client-side hacks for unlocks, but they only allow you to select items you don't have. If you try to go in-game with them, the slots are empty that have the locked items.

Premium is a good investment, though, because you also get access to BF4 beta if you can't afford to pre-order it right now.

Yes, it's an assignment. And yes, you have to buy close quarters. But don't buy it (unless you're really rich), because BF4 is coming soon.
