Using RotMG graphics?

Using RotMG graphics?
Hello MPGH,

I have started work on JRealm, an open source Java client for RotMG (I will post more on this forum if I actually succeed).
What I am asking is that can I rip out the graphics of RotMG for my own client, if I do not sell the client or profit off it? I know some of the sprites aren't owned by Wildshadow or Kabam, but can I be held liable if I would use all of the existing graphics that RotMG has?

Sprites are stored in images that the client contain. You can export them from the swf with sothink swfdecompiler, for example

I think he was talking about to be allowed to use them for his project without getting trapped in some copyright shitstorm.

Anyways, back onto topic: I don't think (althrough not sure) that you can use them, but who even cares? I mean how could you possibly get caught?

If you don't sell it then you probably can.

Hmm, seems that I couldn't find all the tiles/walls by extracting images from the client. Does anybody know where I could find them?

Yes please, so you actually found them in the client? :O
I used an online extractor because I do not have SoThink available atm. That might explain it.

Online extractor = bad quality, might miss something and may not have transparent backgrounds
