19.1 No-Idle Timer Client
Since I couldn't find a way to replace an existing line with a new input I figured... You can't do it with modselector the way I wanted it to so I decided to make a completely clean no-idle timer client.

It does NOT have prod connect or any of the mods from modselector. you simply replace the current clean Client.swf with the one attached to this thread and it won't show any idle messages or disconnect you after X amount of time.

Been standing afk in client for about 9 hours now... Haven't had a single message or disconnect during all this time.

Screenshot... Impossible to attach? since it isn't really a visible change if you don't want me to make a 20 min + video of a client doing absolutely nothing XD

You should post the file you modified and what you added and at which line in code brackets for people trying to update this themselves

Literally all I did with this was nullify the minute counter [10, 15 & 20 mins] meaning they won't output any value ever. That way the message can't get activated or the disconnect feature won't be on... I did this in the _-Bo file, the same file that was mentioned in the no idle timer tutorial. might post a tutorial for this if it's requested by more people.

I don't need a tutorial, I already have it updated. I just know a few people asked for help on the line numbers for this hack. @rocker1988 specifically

I am not using the same system that the idle timer modselector thing was. this one is a bit less annoying since it doesn't print any messages which the modselector one did for me. the timer is simply not activated correctly so it just says "I don't exist" and won't show any sign of idle disconnect
This looks sweet. What I will do is compare this client's code to the current "clean" mod selector client's code and make the mod work in mod selector Cheers bro

A far easier way is to do a pushfalse, returnvalue at the beginning of the update function. That is what I did when I made this mod.

I tried that but It seems it still gave me the "you've been idle for x minutes" message so I decided to just make the value null in the function but not the trait.

Wait wait.....I was supposed to put that at the BEGINNING of the function? FML....I was putting it half way through the function xD.......

Strange. If placed after the pushscope, the messages shouldn't appear since you'll effectively bypass the code that executes them. Not sure what happened when you tried.

Maybe I somehow messed it up and manage to place it in the wrong place or something. but hey this works perfectly too. just a bit different from what used to be made.

Anyway I am still learning the system and how modselector allows customization of code.
Here's something I'd like from modselector. A way to replace a line somehow. been trying to make that with a pretty bad re-creation of the source for modselector but couldn't get it to work the way I needed... Maybe you can take a look at it see if it'd be possible to implement? I think a bit more mods would be created if that was possible.

Yea, I'll take a look at it when I implement another change to the mod selector. I want to save the choices from the last build and automatically select them so it is easier to make minor changes. I am also considering implementing my deobfuscator and auto updater within the tool too (would be hidden unless the debug flag is set in the config.ini).
Thanks for this! I just replaced the client.swf in my mod selector folder and used this one as the base and modded it. and it works. Thx!
