There's nothing to really critique, because it's really all it is. A render with brush spam as the background.
There's no depth, very rarely any lighting in your tags, and really just nothing to them. Honestly if you just gave Photoshop a try I'm sure you'd get much better at making tags. And don't give me that bullshit about how you don't want to get better. If you didn't want to get better, you wouldn't be posting your things here to get criticized.
There are so many things Photoshop can do that GIMP can't. (I know, because I used to be exactly like you. Making tags with a bunch of brushes, no effects, and a render pasted on there.) When I switched to Photoshop years back, I got a lot better at everything. Learned new things, and tried effects that you can't even come close to replicating in other programs such as GIMP.
I'm just trying to convince you to switch for your own benefit. I don't care what program you use, would just like to see you progress in your skill level, and stop staying at this same mediocre level.
I am giving PS a try,i finished downloading it just a few days ago.
I tried doing an image,ofc finding out everything is so damn different...I even couldn't find a few of the color options gimp has :/
So instead of finishing the image in PS,i exported the PSD and finished it with gimp.
I agree PS is more powerful,now that i tried it,the pen tool is trickier but more advanced for sure,same for the brushes too.
So yeah,it's just really hard for me to get used to it.
About the two signatures: i don't think it matters what i used to make them,does it?
The second and third ones do have lighting,the first one much littlier.
About depth,not all signatures need it and only the first one has almost none :/
One last thing: the renders are placed at the very bottom,not at the top :x
I will try to switch from gimp to PS,i'll look online for a few "passage tutorials" as i can't find crap in PS yet...
