NEED HELP FROM EXPERIENCED PEOPLE

Hi Guys,

I need someones help because I think that I have key logger on my computer. Recently I logged onto my ROTMG account and found out that all my characters were lava'd. This started to happen after I downloaded a picture from a thread on the ROTMG Selling/Trading forum.
(I was trying to see if I was interested in the account) Please advise! *ALSO IF THIS IS NOT IN THE RIGHT SECTION IM SORRY, I DIDNT KNIOW WHERE TO PUT IT

yes I have a Mac and I use Sophos Anti-virus

You can store viruses in pictures if he actually downloaded it, but yeah. Don't trust anything on April 1st

As yes, RAT's and such can be binded to image files, too.

Pictures can be crafted to exploits security flaws in particular programs, yes. Like a specially crafted TIF to root a console..
There are also ZIP bombs, bad PDFs, etc...

You can embedd a RAT into a picture, but the point is, it wont be executed .... since reading a picture doesnt "execute" the code in normal circumstances

Technically you can be infected by opening any file but its too rare and it greatly depends on your own software.

Yea, but what if he opened the pic as admin? Lol. Or maybe his UAC is disabled.
