Virus Alert From McDeliver 4.0

So apparently McDeliver(possibly someone else) uploaded a file on MPGH earlier and in the post was a link to a youtube video, in the description of the video was download link to a file sharing site and many people downloaded that. From reports the hack has caused flickering of mice on screen and webcams turning on so this is obviously not normal(also the file is unusually large). All the links to the download should of been taken down, if you have downloaded 4.0 please remove the file and run a virus scan of your computer immediately.

Don't know if it's gone or not? Press ctrl+alt+del and go to processes, be sure to order it so that it shows the processes that use memory the most first, if you see unusual programs running at high memory then right click it and open file location and delete the file. Since it's a virus that monitors the users computer it should use quite a bit of memory on your computer.

It was a RAT virus.

The person behind this even started typing in my skype to someone lol.

Look to to closed thread. He is posting there with both accounts, even asking a moderator from his 20 account to fix the video link because it is hard to do on a phone.

In the topic that is still open he claimed to have lost access to that account but can only use it trough his phone BUT he also claims he never posted the topic.

So he claims he downloaded a file from piratebay yesterday, and somehow got his pc infected. The distributer of that random file he downloaded (which probably has gotten hundreds of pc's infected) suddenly chose to look into mcdeliver his pc, found out that he makes aimbots, about mpgh, found out his passwords for both his mpgh accounts and youtube, infected the aimbot and distributed it. In 1 day?

And then the hacked posts also on 2 account in the closed thread? One of the post saying, "fix the video" its hard on a phone from his 20 account, while he said in the other topic he only has access to his 20 account trough his phone but also claims he never posted the topics.

Everything should be settled when a mod/admin can IP check.

We learned another lesson today,never download things from outside the MPGH Approved by Mods.....

Mcdeliver20/21 is banned and the last topic he responded to was deleted. So one can come to the conclusion is that it was him all a long, not some 'hacker.'

A very strange turn of events indeed.

The original hack he released work flawlessly and I didn't get banned from Punkbuster using it. Yet the hack still seemed suspicious on initial inspection. The virustotal and jotti links he posted were outdated compared to my own analysis before using the cheat. Sandboxing and Windows processes however, showed nothing out of the ordinary.

So it seems like the first hack was legit, possibly with the intention to build trust in the community. Wouldn't be so hard because the majority of this forum is filled with 13 year old kids who are desperate just to go 10-0.

The followup cheat was most likely the final product. A working hack that was also in-turn a RAT and keylogger to steal information.

None of this matters though since he is gone.

Yes she/he was unbanned and will be watched over carefully, he/she can post hacks as long as they're clean...
