Avatar thing

I could put a gif as an avatar before but now it appears as a still image, no matter if I upload it via PC or use an url.
if its an animated gif it appears as a still image.

Is this a common bug? if so is there any solution?

Few days ago i tried to change my avatar to one new .gif but it was displaying as image. So i uploaded my old .gif again.

it gotta be within your restrictions when you upload it

You need to make sure that it's within both the file size limit and the image size limit, otherwise it'll display as a still image.

I comply with the demands on both image dimensions and image size. Its 41 kb size and its 200x163 I believe which is inside limits.
Dunno why the gif is working everywhere including my signature, and other websites and on PC, but not as my MPGH avatar. That is the problem.

It have to be 150x150

your height is 180 not 200

I've seen it, sounded like fapping.

Looks like it's animated now

It worked for me and this is what I had to follow: The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 488.3 KB
I used this website to resive my gif

PS:Also I used this to make a gif from youtube http://gifsforum.com/make-a-gif-from-youtube/ⓘ Hope this was helpful to everyone
